Very enjoyable stay, nothing too much trouble.
The place is well-kept and good small, exceeded all expectations. Well heated and reasonably large rooms with drinks and a great view, and efficient personnel. Breakfast with `` spanish way '' oriented. Particularly good location, to the ski slopes.

The venue is old and well-kept, and its location adjacent to the restaurant and bars is unbeatable. We enjoyed our stay, especially the nice pool and the very friendly staff.

Very relaxed atmosphere to this family run hotel. All the staff are efficient, friendly and helpful. The rooms are generous in size and very comfortable. The hotel is modern but full of character, well built and well appointed in the center of the village. We used it as a base for skiing in Sierra Nevada a 20min drive away, it was perfect. a fraction of the cost of the main resort, the village is a vibrant friendly place full of good tapas bars. The hotel provided secure storage for our skis at no extra cost and free car parking. Breakfast was excellent and the dinner menu varied. we shall definately return.

Good position to go to Sierra Nevada and to Granada. Very quiet. Good brekfast and dinner (with good prices and quality). High general quality for the price. For the hotel, from Granada, you have to arrive at the main square, turn right, take the direction Granada turning right again, go down and turn right the 3rd time. Take again for Granada at a crossroad and, arrived at a little crossroad with a panel "Hotel", take a little road right and you are at the hotel.

We stayed in the village previously in a different hotel which we liked but they were full. Thank goodness we loved the Juan Francisco for everything the room was perfect the location good with a private car parking. Breakfast was good. Also the seating area up stairs is also a great place to sit and work as we sometimes take our work with us and enjoy a break whilst working. Overall we all had a fantastic 2 nights and look forward to returning to this wonderful place.

Though they didn't speak much English, the staff was very friendly. Cheap drinks and good tapas at the hotel bar. Good breakfast. There is a place close by for swimming in the lake, but a bit difficult to find. You need a car, though (to get to the hotel as well). Overall great place to stay.
Pool was small but no one else was using it and the lake was close by and better for swimming anyway. The internet didn't work in the room. Seemed to only work in the dining room.

Lovely traditional Spanish hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms. We had lunch and dinner on the day we arrived and breakfast next morning, all very pleasant, excellent value considering that we had the set lunch and evening menus. Staff very friendly and helpful, beautiful location for walking and although we haven't visited in the winter, it would seem to be an ideal location for skiing. We live in Spain so it will certainly be somewhere to revisit for a relaxing break.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel for 1 night in November as part of a trip to Granada and Sierra Nevada. The people that run the hotel are very friendly and accommodating. There were few other guests and I spent a fantastic evening watching football with the owners while they made tapas to go with my glasses of wine. The room was big and perfectly clean with a nice view of the hills and the town. Everything was working and there was wifi available in the room and around the bar / restaurant. The breakfast was perfect with a lot of choice which was incredible considering how few people were staying at the time. When I came to collect my case for my trip back to Granada after walking in the nearby hills I was exhausted and needed a drink. The lady brought two beautiful plates of food to bring me back to life. This was typical of the generosity of the people who ran this hotel and the people of this region in general. The town is easy to get to from Granada on the bus and there are some beautiful walks in the surrounding area. I will certainly return to the region again and if I come back to Güéjar Sierra I would not think to stay in any other hotel as my experience in this one was perfect. I would recommend it to anybody planning to stay in this area.
